Breast Cancer
Is the most common cancer in the UK. Almost all women diagnosed with breast cancer in its earliest stages survive for at least 5 years and are likely to be cured. Hence the importance of breast cancer screening with evidence suggesting that it reduces breast cancer deaths by about 1300 a year in the UK.
AI enterprited Ultrasound images can provide an indispensable tool for achieving accessible method screening and early detection of Breast Cancer.
Ovarian Cancer
The sixth most common cancer in women in the UK. More than 7000 new case are diagnosed every year, That's 20 every day.
Less than Half
of these patients survive for 5 years. Almost 6 in 10 women are diagnosed at a late stage.
Our current research is aimed towards early diagnosis as to improve survival and treatment outcomes for ovarian cancer patients.
Thyroid Cancer
A rare type of cancer. Over the last decade, thyroid cancer incidence rates have increased by more than two thirds in the UK. Thyroid cancer in usually treatable and many cases can be cured completely, although it can sometimes come back after treatment. AI facilitated interpretation of Ultrasound images can provide a key part for successful treatment.
